With the RGB2HDMI FFC adapter, a Raspberry Pi can be used to convert the RGB signal of the Amiga 600 into a digital HDMI signal. This solution adds pixel-perfect HDMI output to the Amiga computer and enables the connection of modern monitors and TVs with HDMI input. The RGB2HDMI software must be copied to an SD card and installed in the Raspberry Pi. The required Raspberry Zero board and SD card are currently not included in the scope of delivery or available as an option.
The RGB2HDMI solution consists of two adapter boards. The first board picks up the signals from the Denise chip via a PLLC socket. The second board is connected to the first via an FFC cable and contains the logic ICs and the Raspberry Pi connection. This solution allows the Raspberry Pi to be placed in different areas of the Amiga 600, making it mechanically compatible with any internal expansion. You can install the RGB2HDMI FCC in the original housing of the Amiga 600 and close it as usual.
Note: The RGB2HDMI converter is compatible with all memory expansions, turbo cards and other expansions such as PiStorm A600, Furia, ACA, Indivision, etc.
