HDD LED adapter for Amiga 1200

The HDD LED adapter is intended as an extension for Amiga 1200 turbo cards (e.g. Vampire V2, Icedrake V4, PiStorm etc.) which are equipped with a mass storage connection such as an IDE port and do not have their own possibility to display the visual accesses via the standard LED module of the Amiga 1200. The HDD LED adapter provides 2 separate inputs for this purpose, through which the access signals from e.g. hard disks or the PCMCIA port are transmitted and then displayed via the original LEDs of the Amiga 1200. The signals from the internal IDE port of the Amiga 1200 (HDD) and the floppy drive (DISK) are passed through unchanged. In addition, the adapter corrects the steady light that can occur with some SD or CF cards. Last but not least, there are LEDs on the module itself that indicate the operating status, that of the floppy drive and that of the IDE activities. This can be interesting if the Amiga 1200 is used without a standard keyboard or if the Amiga is often used in an open state (as a test computer).
