THE RUIN OF ØCEANUS PR1ME kicks off after the events narrated in A1RLØCK (also published by poly.play) and offers us a new point of view on the story, as well as a whole new adventure.

On a mission for a mysterious organization and a member of a mercenary special recovery team, Colonel JT Thomas descends to the depths of an alien sea … only to find nothing.

Suspended in the infinite black at two thousand meters of depth he will have to find his way inside the disaster of Oceanus Prime, the nefarious underwater station scene of the events of A1RLØCK and the adventures of the special little girl Chloe. His mission: find the unidentified specimen 73Jon and bring it back to base, whatever the cost.

In a desolate landscape he will have to make his way through obscene laboratories and monstrous creatures, all while trying not to lose his humanity and indulge in nightmares deeper than himself.

Created with Inform6’s Puny­Inform libraries,RUIN revives the Infocom text adventure parser of the 1980s in all its splendor. The system is in fact capable of understanding and interpreting complex commands and working simply in English, leaving the player with the sole aim of having fun and finding the solution to the mystery.

However, RUIN is not just a puzzle game, as the narrative aspect has been pushed to the maximum. The descriptions and answers don’t just show what you see, but have their own tone of voice, as expected from an author’s novel.

THE RUIN OF ØCEANUS PR1ME placed first (winner) in PunyJam#4, the December 2023 online competition for adventures created with PunyInform. Version 2, contained in this package, has been expanded, improved and perfected, for a unique and memorable gaming experience.
