The Rom V7 for the A590 / A2091 not only fixes many bugs of the previous versions, but also allows the use of hard drives > 1 GB on the controllers.

Support for > 1GB HD and up to 4 GB (Even up to 9 GB with AmigaOS 3.1.4)
Error handling improved
Fixed DMA reselection error
Sync messages are handled
Recognition of removable media fixed
Sync problems with Seagate / Syquest fixed
Disconnect / reconnect performance has been greatly improved
Slow boot jumper now does a 15 second wait plus 300ms scan
