KickRom-Progger Flash Rom programming device

With the KickRom Progger you can program/read Flash-Rom (27C400 emulators) devices up to 1.4 from Alinea Computer as well as commercially available 27C400 devices. The programmer can be operated directly on your Amiga via the serial interface. In addition to the serial interface, the programmer can also be controlled via USB on any computer. The programmer is operated via its own firmware, which is controlled from the computer via a terminal programme and can therefore run on almost any platform.

The device is the world's first programmer that can burn its own Kickstart roms directly on the Amiga.

System requirements

• Minimum for Amiga computers: 68000 processor and 1 MB Ram and serial interface
• Recommended configuration for Amiga computers: 68020 processor and 4 MB Ram or higher with a desired maximum transfer speed of full 115,200 Bps
• Optional: interface card for transfers with less processor load
• Alternatively: Computer with USB interface (up to 921,600 Bps possible with USB)
• 5V power supply or joyport power adapter (selectable above) with cable and micro USB connector to power the unit
• Terminal programme with X-modem support
