With the Gotek conversion kit, Gotek drives can be installed in an external Amiga floppy drive housing without modifications. Gotek drives are usually approx. 3 cm shorter than normal floppy drives. The conversion kit compensates for this difference so that no modifications need to be made to the drive housing or cable.
