Amiga/C64/Atari joystick adapter for Raspberry Pi

With this joystick adapter you can connect your old Amiga / C64 / Atari joysticks to your Raspberry Pi. Ideal for anyone who wants to play the classic games on an emulator (Retropie) with the input devices of the time in a very authentic way. This adapter is compatible with any add-on program that interprets the Raspberry Pi GPIO signals.

Note: A 40 pin 3.5 inch IDE cable is required for connection.

1. Connect your Raspberry Pi to the adapter using a 40 pin 3.5 inch IDE cable so that pin 1 from the Raspberry Pi is connected to pin 1 of the adapter
2. Install Retrogame from Adafruit.
   1. Connect to your Pi via SSH and run the following at the prompt: curl https://raw.githubusercontent.com/adafruit/Raspberry-Pi-Installer-Scripts/master/retrogame.sh > retrogame.sh
   2. Then run: sudo bash retrogame.sh and select the 3rd option.
3. Replace /boot/retrogame.cfg with the retrogame.cfg file and then reboot.
