Internal Gotek USB Floppy Emulator for Amiga 500/600/1200

The internal Gotek USB floppy emulator replaces the floppy drive in your Amiga 500/600/1200/2000 without (picture 5-7) or with an OLED display with a resolution of 128 x 32 pixels (picture 2-4) (version selectable above) if you no longer want to handle floppy discs. Amiga 2000 version only available with large 128 x 64 pixel OLED display (picture 10).

It is installed internally instead of the floppy drive and makes the Amiga look like a floppy drive. From there you can then handle ADF files from a USB flash memory stick like floppy disks. So the Gotek USB floppy emulator is ideal for computer players on the Amiga who don't want to load their Amiga games from floppy disks anymore, but like to play floppy games.

The Gotek floppy emulator has a USB port, a 7-segment display (Fig. 5-7) or OLED display with a resolution of 128 x 32 pixels (Fig. 2-4), a green LED and two buttons. Amiga 2000 version exceptionally has an OLED display of 128 x 64 pixels (picture 10). The frame was made from PLA using the FDM process with a 3D printer in white.

To get the original Amiga feeling with floppy drive noise, a floppy sound mod can be ordered optionally.

Our floppy emulator is delivered with the latest FlashFloppy firmware suitable for Amiga/Atari/Amstrad/Acorn/IBM-PC.
