Lithium Coin battery module (2 / 3 Pin)
The lithium button cell battery module is available in 2 pin (picture 3 and 4) and 3 pin (picture 1 and 2) variants. The 2 pin variant is suitable for RAM expansions for the Amiga 500 (with 2 pin battery) or for the Amiga 500+. The 3 pin variant can be installed in the Amiga A500 Plus, 1500, 2000, 3000, 3000T and 4000 Desktop. Furthermore, it is also possible to use the kit on selected memory expansion cards with barrel batteries, such as the A501 RAM board.
Ideal for replacing the old barrel battery with a modern lithium button cell. The barrel batteries originally used by Commodore leak due to old age and can cause significant damage to the Amiga's motherboard.
Suitable for lithium button cells (CR2032), optinal selectable above. Battery holder PCB contains protection circuit to prevent the button cells from charging.
Please note: Adapter has two or three pins like the original barrel battery and requires soldering on original motherboard at BT176 (A4000), BT190 (A3000 and A3000T), BT800 (A2000 and A1500) location.
