The MAS Player enables your Amiga to play MP3 music files from your hard drive without using the Amiga's processor (CPU) to decode the MP3 files and audio streams/radio streams. This is particularly useful for classic Amigas that are not powerful enough to play them.
Audio output is either via a 3.5 mm jack socket or via Bluetooth. The MAS-Player Pro2+ model also has a 3.5 mm jack input for connecting the Amiga's audio sockets and routing the Amiga sound through the MAS-Player. This slightly mixes the channels, making the Amiga's usual hard channel separation much more pleasant to listen to (Amiga ‘soft stereo’ mode). An adapter cable (RCA → 3.5 mm to stereo jack plug) is required for this (selectable above).
