CF-IDE adapter (buffered) for Amiga 600/1200

The CF-IDE adapter (buffered) allows the use of Compact Flash cards on the 2.5 IDE port of the Amiga 600 or 1200. The adapter is not arranged parallel to the IDE port, as is the case with standard CF adapters, but at a right angle.

This way it fits more precisely into the Amiga case and is easier to reach. The adapter also has a looped-through 44 pin IDE port (2.5 inch), so that another IDE device can be connected, and an LED that indicates access to the IDE port. A special feature of this adapter is that it has a buffer that separates the total of 24 signals of the IDE from the rest of the system. This improves the siganle and the system runs more stable. Last but not least, the CF slot can be switched to master or slave via the existing jumper.
