OmniPort - Multi port adapter for Amiga 1200

The OmniPort is a multi-port adapter that neatly routes various hardware interfaces on the Amiga 1200 desktop case to the outside via the expansion port. The interfaces are 2x USB, 1 x HDMI and 1x MicroSD. In order to be able to use the respective interfaces with the OmniPort, the corresponding hardware must already be installed in the Amiga 1200.

USB interfaces
To be able to use the USB interfaces, a USB card must be installed on the clock port of the Amiga 1200. Basically, all cards that comply with the USB standard when connecting the USB interfaces will work. The best-known USB cards such as RapidRoad and Subway (only via USB Subway adapter) are compatible and have already been tested.

HDMI interface
In order to use the HDMI interface on the OmniPort, a scandoubler must be present in the Amiga 1200. The scandoubler must be compatible with either the Indivision MK2cr or the MK3. For the Indivision MK2cr (not MK2) an additional cable is needed, which can be ordered optinally from OmniPort. Both Indivisions have already been tested and are currently the reference hardware for the OmniPort.

MicroSD interface
In order to use the MicroSD interface, an SD2IDE converter as well as an angle adapter must be present at the internal 2.5 inch IDE port. SD card tap as well as cable are already included in the OmniPort package.

• Amiga 1200 with free expansion port  (Suitable for standard A1200 and A1200.net cases) 
• For USB: Installed RapidRoad USB or Subway USB card (only with USB Subway adapter)
• For HDMI: Installed Indivision MK2cr (not MK2) or Indivision MK3 compatible Scandoubler
• For Micro-SD: Installed SD2IDE converter with angle adapter or Vampire 2 accelerator with MicroSD card adapter (see picture 8)
